Math Rush is the speed test of the arcade. A question appears with four answers, you tap the right one, and a sixty-second clock runs. Consecutive correct answers build a streak multiplier that climbs to 2×.
It is the shortest game on PlayJoy and the one people replay most often, because a personal best is always sixty seconds away.
Accuracy beats speed for the first ten questions
The streak multiplier is worth more than raw speed, and one wrong answer resets it to zero. Taking an extra half second to confirm the last digit is almost always worth more than the half second you save.
Estimate before you calculate
For multiplication, round one operand and check the magnitude — 7 × 38 is a bit under 280, so any option near 210 or 340 is wrong before you finish the arithmetic. Elimination by magnitude is faster than exact calculation on every question above 10 × 10.
Why the streak multiplier matters
Each correct answer scores 100 points multiplied by 1 + 0.12 × (streak − 1), capped at a 2× ceiling after ten in a row. A clean run of twenty scores far more than twenty scattered correct answers with resets in between.
How Math Rush is scored
score = 100 per correct answer × streak multiplier + speed bonus
